Banana Apple Yogurt Puree

Seriously, I've rediscovered the joy of blending and apparently I'll throw everything I get my hands on in my blender =p

Ingredients
1 ripe banana
1 apple
2 Tbsp. apple sauce
1/4 cup blueberry soy yogurt
1 Tbsp. whole grain oat flakes

1. put everything in a blender
2. mix and enjoy!

So last night I went grocery shopping and stocked up on fruit.
2 grapefruits, 4 pears, 4 apples, 3 bananas... that should be enough until the weekend ;)

Thank you for visiting my blog! Yours looks very neat as well; I will make a point to keep up with it!

It's also nice to meet a fellow fruitaholic!

That smoothie (and the fresh fruit) look very yummy. This would make a great, quick, nutritious breakfast before work or on the weekend if you didn't feel like making a big lunch (am I the only one who NEVER has breakfast and lunch on the weekends? I always just make a nice big brunch).

Nice to "meet" you!

Isn't it super-fun to throw a bunch of stuff in the blender or food processor and see what comes out? That's one of my favorite pastimes hehe.

Just like you, I get super-excited simply ovr a cookbook... I'm excited to see what you'll make first from HIAV. Hmmm, from that cookbook, I've made the Anything-Goes muffins, with rave results, the coconut custard pie, bourbon pecan chocolate pie, stuffed squash, pumpkin pie, and some lentil-rice-cheeze casserole (I can't remember the name; I don't have the book here in my apt.). I'v probably made even more from that book, but that's what I remember off the top of my head. Everything I've made from that book has been good (although I've modified some of the recipes, like putting less sugar in the coconut pie).

This is actually my second apartment, as I shared one last year... but this one's my own-- a completely vegan apartment haha.

Sadly I can't bring my doggies with me :o( :o(. I wish I could-- they'd be good company! But they don't allow pets, so the puppies are stuck at home with my parents (they don't mind; my dad takes them for nice, long walks hehe).

Sure, I'll take some picures :o). I'll post them to my blog maybe sometime in the next few weeks... you should see my stove/oven; it's so small and cute!
